Our Vacation Bible School will focus on learning Bible Stories and the teachings of Christ Jesus while having a great time.

This year’s participants will be exploring the story of Creation from Genesis 1 and how “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”  The fun begins at 10:00am and wraps up at 2:00pm. Each day, the students will enjoy Bible stories, games, snacks, and music that teach about God’s perfect, spiritual creation!

The program is free for kids entering grades K through 12. Bible stories will be taught from the perspective of the spiritual account of Creation found in Genesis 1. Students will learn stories from the Bible, like Jesus calming the waters, the three Hebrew boys, and Daniel and the lion’s den.

Each participant needs to bring their own snacks and lunch on Thursday and Friday, but lunch will be provided on Saturday. Juice and water will be available to everyone for all three days. The children should dress comfortably in clothes appropriate for outside play. Socks and tennis shoes are preferred over sandals or flip flops. There is no fee for participating in VBS, however, donations are welcome.

Participates should be from kindergarten through high school ages.

We look forward to seeing you at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Decatur, AL from July 27th-29th!
